From Engineering to Elegance: Naznin Shaikh Stuns at Mrs India 2025
Pune, India – As a mother, an engineer, a home baker, a fitness coach, and an educator, Naznin Shaikh managed a busy daily life. Attending pageant styled events was a far cry from the life Naznin was living – appearing at the Mrs. India 2025 pageant as a style icon was something she had never dreamt of. However, with a fair bit of dedication and hard work, Naznin managed to rediscover herself time and time again.
From Dreams Deferred to Dreams Delivered
Naznin life is one full of surprises, focusing on her baking and even fitness training. However, something which she always wanted to do was participate in a pageant. Speaking of her dreams, she states, “ I always wanted to, and even had a bucket list. However, I was engulfed with my responsibilities”.
All of this changed when Sharayu, one of her friends, decided to show her the DIVA pageant on Instagram. With curiosity, and a touch of caution, Naznin decided to take a leap of faith – and in the process, she discovered a whole new world which embraced beauty and grace.
Walking Tall at 47 – Whether It’s Literally and Figuratively
Stepping onto the stage at Pune Times Fashion Week and later at the grand finale of Mrs. India 2025 at Hyatt Pune, Naznin has done and is doing everything. “Walking in five-inch heels at 47 was a thrilling first,” recollects Naznin. “But I learned to anchor myself – in confidence and in grace.”
From learning how to walk, and talk, to digital marketing by Aman, Health Care By Shweta Karlapudi and within the span of four days to a week, she received a skincare tutorial from Ethoski, a makeup lesson was by Kertee Verma, communication training was by Priya Rathor, And Pose Session By Piya Pawani. I just hope that the runway coaching from Pooja Ma’am was as encouraging as she is. It’s proof that kindness can go a very long way.
A lot can be said from the support by the DIVA team, consisting of Anjana Ma’am, Karl Sir, Cicila, Mrunalini, Spanta, and Sai. “They didn’t just guide us; they listened to us. They made us feel seen, heard, and supported.”
