Rooted in Culture, Flourishing with Knowledge
Vaidehi’s story is deeply rooted in tradition. Raised in a household filled with the rhythms of classical music and dance, she was drawn to the arts from a young age. Under the tutelage of the renowned Pandita Maneesha Sathe, she trained in Kathak and went on to perform in prestigious productions like the World Peace Project — an awe-inspiring fusion of Kathak with Japanese music and fan dance. She also made her mark in folk dance festivals, Geet Ramayan presentations, and the iconic Pune Festival.
But her world wasn’t limited to the stage. Vaidehi pursued academic excellence with equal fervor, earning her MSc in Nutrition and establishing herself as a consulting dietician, specializing in Gynaec and Women’s Health. She has been a guiding force at leading healthcare centers like Biniwale Clinic and Patankar Hospital in Pune, helping countless women live healthier lives.
As an advocate of the philosophy that “better food habits create better lives,” Vaidehi has consistently used her voice and expertise to influence public health through YouTube’s “Slim Bite Eat Right”, co-authoring books such as “Atha Pasun Ithi Paryanta”, “Lifestyle Management in Hypertension”, and “Diabetes and Care.”
A Dream Deferred, Not Denied
While her career and cultural passions blossomed, there was one dream Vaidehi quietly held onto — the world of glamour and pageantry. “I always dreamt of flying high, even imagined being an air hostess,” she shares. The allure of platforms like Femina Miss India and Mrs. India fascinated her for years. At one point, she even considered joining as a dietician. But life had its course — work, family, and responsibilities often placed her personal dreams on the back burner.
Then came the turning point — DIVA Pageant.
Introduced to the platform by Mrunalini Ma’am, Vaidehi was initially hesitant to participate due to family commitments. But when destiny knocks, it does so with purpose. Guided by the belief that “only do what your heart tells you, so you always know what to do,” she took the plunge — and stepped forward confidently with a new dream to achieve.
Walking In as Vaidehi, Walking Out Reborn
With the blessings of her parents, with a bundle of love and good wishes from her family, the unwavering support of her husband Mr. Prasad Oak, a financial professional and founder of Oaks Investment Academy, and the heartfelt encouragement of her two daughters — Vaidehi stepped into the world of DIVA Pageant not just as a contestant, but as a woman ready to rediscover herself.
Her elder daughter, a Kathak dancer who was part of the Kathak World 2025 record (recognized in the Limca Book of Records) and now a management trainee at Taj Hotels, and her younger daughter, a gymnast who has competed both in India and the Philippines, served as her inspiration and pride.
At the pageant, Vaidehi dazzled with not only her poise but with her presence. Winning the Mrs. Photogenic title was more than just about her physical appearance — it was a celebration of her spirit, expression, and authenticity.

She expresses deep gratitude to her mentors — Anjana Ma’am, whom she fondly calls a “fairy godmother,” and Karl Sir, for their unwavering support and belief in her potential. The entire DIVA team, she says, made the four-day event “nothing short of a fairytale.”

From being a consulting nutritionist, classical dancer, and author, to now stepping into the limelight as Mrs. Photogenic at DIVA Pageant Mrs. India 2025, Vaidehi Oak is a living testament to the idea that it’s never too late to chase a dream.
